The Tibetan book of the Dead is a classic

sacred text which offers insight about life,

death, and the evolution of consciousness.

In this 10 week course, American teacher


Cheryl Conner offers an introduction to
its

essential lessons about: the death

process, the spiritual opportunities of

death,

and the way death informs the way

we live our lives. 

Students will read approximately 30 pages from an assigned book before each class. The class time will include short remarks, music, dialogue, and experiential exercises. The 5 sessions with occur every other week over a 10 week period. This course is available both in person and by zoom.

The course content can benefit people of all perspectives and faiths. No background in Buddhism or meditation is required although it could be helpful. A follow up course will build on this one offering additional practices and practical advise on approaching death. 

Cheryl Conner is an American Buddhist with 40 years of practice authorized to teach dharma by H.E.Chagdud Tulku. Her lifelong passion is empowering individuals and groups in daily life, the realms of law, business, healthcare, and education using meditation contemplative dialogue and music.
